Naval Medical Center San Diego

Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) is a 32-bed Level 3 NICU and one of the Navy's largest Military Treatment Facilities.  Our medical staff includes active duty and civilian neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners, active duty and civilian nurses and LVNs and active duty corpsmen. NMCSD has pediatric subspecialty care available, including pediatric surgery. We are able to perform whole body cooling and have use of iNO. NMCSD does not have neonatal ECMO capabilities, therefore we work closely with our regional ECMO center when needed.  Our patient population primarily focuses on the dependents of our active duty and veteran service members.
